Ambulophobia

Ambulophobia - Fear of Walking --------------------------------------------------------------------------- WORD FACTS: Ambulophobia is derived from the Latin word ambulō, ambulāre, ambulāvī, ambulatus/a/um , which means to walk. (Sorry that I put in all of the basic forms. I take Latin as a World Language and I know that one of the top of my head...) It is also derived from the Greek god of fear, Phobos. (Obviously.) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- SCIENCE: Ambulophobia typically doesn't manifest in early life, rather the older a person gets, the more likely they are to develop it and its symptoms. Sufferers typically will feel unsafe while walking and sometimes while standing up and will usually use a walking cane and sometimes confine themselves to a wheelchair. Ambulophobia is also closely related to Basophobia/Basiphobia & Statibasophobia/Stasiphobia, all of which pertain to the action of walking or standing. It also is ...

The Time is at Hand (An Unfortunate Name, as it was Already Used)

Everyone! The time is at hand! I have a schedule in place that I will hopefully be sticking to. I have a lovely setup in Surf City at the library. The only wrinkle is that I will have to get up in time to arrive at 9 in the morning. I'll show you the relevant bits of my schedule. My Schedule As is Relevant to My Blog Note that I forgot to Include the Extra Research Section on my Saturday Schedule. Unfortunately, I spent all of today's time making this post and dealing with computer troubles trying to get a spreadsheet as an image. Please don't explain it to me in the comments, as I now understand and am embarrassed at how simple it was. Tomorrow I will be posting Ambulophobia. Don't forget to check out the rest of my blog! Also be sure to share with your friends and family! Here are some links that you should check out: My blog's home page: http://mtgphobias.blogspot.com/ Cardsmith:  https://mtgcardsmith.com/ Cardsmith Forums:  http://forums.mtg...

I Apologize That I Am What I Am

I apologize that I am what I am. A procrastinator. To be honest, when I realized that I hadn’t made the post that I had promised, I had started up think of all of the ways that I could make an excuse, think of everything that I had to do and exaggerate it and pretend as though there was no free time. Then I realized something: Its a little boy who cried wolf situation. When I keep exaggerating and saying that things came up, when it actually is that bad, people will call it to be a bluff. So **** it. I am a procrastinator. I have been procrastinating my posts for a while now, because I have been intimidated to get back into the flow of research and posting. Those who have seen my activity on the Cardsmith Forums can attest to that. (The fact that I have had time on my hands.)  I WILL... however, post when I am done my finals as I need to study now and then take them as of Monday. At that moment there will begin the tedious process of the “recalibration” of my routine. I will sta...

Soon...

Soon I will post my next research post. On either Saturday or Sunday! If I get to monday with no post! Bombard me with emails pressuring me to get it moving!

The Time is at Hand

Ok... I have been having intense writer’s block as of late and I still have the last third of an essay already late and I need to turn that in today. So long story short: I typically get writer’s block when I need to write the most and it stops when its past. So I need to cram out that essay and then I should have that alleviated. I wont post Allodoxaphobia. I love that research too much to make it any other post. This will be like Nyctophobia. On September 1st Iwill post Allodoxaphobia. Until then I will first post the other Phobias I have made so far. The cards & research to expect soon are (all haven’t been researched yet though...): Photophobia: Fear of Light https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/photophobia?list=user Phobophobia: Fear of Fear https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/phobophobia?list=user That last one probably won’t be soon though... So thanks anyway!

A Heartfelt Thanks

As this post’s title probably suggests, this is a heartfelt thanks to all of you who have commented on, read, supported, or even acknowledged my blog. In other words, if you came here looking for some sweet research, you’re gonna have to wait until later today, when I post Allodox. Photophobia should be posted monday. But enough about that. This post is dedicated to all of my readers so far, and to the many more that will hopefully come. Most of my notable thanks go to members of the Cardsmith Community who have supported, whether it be by commenting, supporting me, making cards about the fear aspect of my user, etc. Thank you @Tomigon aka Kohei Tomita (I will remove that if you dont want it there) He has been a consistent viewer on my blog and was the first to make a card based on me that supported the blog. Give him a hand everyone! (I am going to assume that you are clapping) https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/ranshi-tormentor-of-souls-2 Thank you @sorinjace and...

Testing 123

This is just a small test of something to come. Ignore this. <a href=" https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/sloth-god "><img src=" https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/complete/full/2018/4/22/1524433129788064.png " width="35%"></img></a> If you are wondering wtf is going on, dont bother. If it does work, ignore the sloth god.

New posts soon

So I am going to be posting stuff for the fear cards Ihave made so far. Expect a post on every friday. (Hopefully this time I’ll actually be able to follow through 😅)
