Triskaidekaphobia - the fear of the number 13, or things relating to the number 13.
Triskaidekaphobia is overall a pretty common fear. 13 has been considered an unlucky number for a very long time, all the way back to the times of the Greeks. The Greeks considered the number 12, to be a perfect number, and then 13 was considered to be the most imperfect number. Fast foward to the last supper, where in the 13th seat was Judas, who then betrays Jesus. In the traditional designs of the gallows, there were thirteen steps; 12 ascending, representing the perfection of 12, and one step descending, to represent the misfortune of 13. In addition, the mass arrest and execution of the Knights of Templar began on a 13th. This superstition is common practice:
-Hospitals avoid having room thirteens
-Buildings that would have a thirteenth floor skip the thirteenth floor to the fourteenth.
-Friday the Thirteenth is still considered a unlucky day.
There is a further superstition that someone with 13 letters in their name is cursed. For example, Jack the Ripper, Charles Manson, Albert de Slavo. As a matter of fact, the baptismal name of Hitler was actually, Adolfus Hitler! Overall, Triskaidekaphobia is a rather common fear with lots of evidence backing up its existence. Need say, proof that 13 is a cursed number, after all, there can only be so many coincidences, before it is a pattern. Thank you for reading!

Xenophobia is rather common, which to be honest is kinda sad. Xenophobia is one of the most common fears in the world. I do understand why Xenophobia is prevalent; the fear of strange or foreign concepts is hardwired into the brain and has been there before we fully evolved to be Homo Sapiens. It was a necessary fear and was crucial to our survival; if we weren’t dubious and afraid of things we didn’t know, we would’ve carelessly wandered into countless brutal deaths.
